Why does my 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid have a brake system problem?
The brake system problem alert in my 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid just popped on. I’ve been away on vacation for the last two weeks and this is my first time starting my vehicle since I left. What does this alert mean for my vehicle?

If your 2015
Honda Accord Hybrid
shows a brake system problem, it could be because of a gummed-up parking brake switch. Since the switch itself is positioned in the center console, it’s easy for dirt and debris to fall into it and cause a malfunction. Try cleaning the button to remedy the issue. If that doesn’t work out, you may have a battery voltage issue. Leaving your vehicle off for long periods of time allows the battery to lose power, and if that’s the case,
jumpstarting your car battery
