Your tires make a humming noise because your wheel bearings are damaged. You should have your wheel bearings replaced ASAP.
This humming sound is due to your deteriorating wheel bearings. You’re most likely to hear it when you are changing lanes. Wheel bearings connect the wheel to the axle and are a crucial part of your car—without it, your wheel may stop spinning right in the middle of a drive.
Take your car to a mechanic to get your wheel bearing replaced.
The humming noise may also be caused by uneven wear on
your tires
. While less of an immediate threat, it’s time to replace your tires.
