It’s always fun when an obsession catches on! The Ford GT is indeed an extremely rare sports car. The exact number of Heritage Edition models made varies by generation, but only 78 Ford GT Heritage Edition models in total were made in 2022.
Here’s a look at how many GT Heritage models were produced in other years:
- 2006 Ford GT Gulf Livery Heritage Edition—343 models
- 2017 Ford GT ’66 Heritage Edition—27 models
- 2018 Ford GT ’67 Heritage Edition—39 models
- 2019 Ford GT ’68 Gulf Livery Heritage Edition—50 models
- 2020 Ford GT ’69 Gulf Livery Heritage Edition—50 models
- 2021 Ford GT ’66 Daytona Heritage Edition—50 models
