Where is the AUX port in a 2008 Acura MDX?

I just bought a used 2008 Acura MDX on the cheap. It doesn’t have a fancy touch screen and infotainment system, so I thought I’d just use my phone to listen to music and podcasts—the only issue is that I have no idea where to plug in my phone. Where can I find the AUX port on my 2008 MDX?

Congrats on your great buy! Unlike many cars where the AUX port is on the head unit of the radio, the AUX port in a 2008 Acura MDX is in the center console. Here’s how to find it:
  • Lift up the lid to the center console and look at the bottom of the console.
  • Toward the front end of the car, you should see the small AUX port.
  • Just plug in your phone, pump up the jams, and you should hear it on your car speakers.
