Where is the 2016 Toyota Camry OBD port location?

My Camry’s check engine light is on and I want to find out what’s going on. I bought a code reader but don’t know where the port is. Where is the 2016 Toyota Camry OBD port location?

The 2016
Toyota Camry
 OBD port location is down by the pedals, to the right.
Look for a small rectangular area with a plastic covering and metal inside. That’s where you can plug your reader into the socket.
If you have your OBD-II code reader or scanner, you can plug it into the OBD port on your Toyota to get more information about problems in your car. Professional mechanics use this tool to help diagnose problems but anyone can buy this tool to use at home.
The
Check Engine Light warning light
 can signify a variety of issues. But your
car OBD codes
 will point to more specific problems. For example, the
engine code P2806
 means that your transmission has a problem.
Some problems will be easier to solve than others. Ultimately, bringing your car to a mechanic is probably wise if you can’t resolve the problem with a simple fix like replacing a cracked gas cap.
