No problem—figuring out how to open a gas tank on a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is actually pretty easy once you locate the gas tank door release lever.
You’ll find the lever right next to the driver’s left foot, on the floor. Pull up on the lever to open the door to the gas tank. When you get out of the Eclipse, you should see the open door to the tank on the driver’s side of the car.
