Where is Dodge manufactured?
I’ve always been a fan of Dodge, but like other companies in the U.S., I imagine that they’ve outsourced much of their production overseas. Where does Dodge manufacture its vehicles?

Although Dodge has historically made cars across North America, Dodge only manufactures cars in the United States and Canada as of 2022. This includes the
Dodge Charger
, Dodge Challenger
, and Dodge Durango
. However, Dodge plans to discontinue the Charger and Challenger after 2023, and the company has been tight-lipped about what’s going to happen to its facilities.
Here are the Dodge manufacturing plants in the United States:
- Jefferson North Assembly Plant – Detroit, Michigan: Dodge Durango
Here are the Dodge manufacturing plants abroad:
- Brampton Assembly Plant – Brampton, Ontario, Canada: Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger
And although RAM was separated from Dodge in 2009, some people still consider it part of the Dodge family. RAM manufacturing plants are in:
- Warren Truck Assembly Plant – Warren, Michigan: RAM 1500
- Sterling Heights Assembly Plant – Sterling Heights, Michigan: RAM 1500
- Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant – Coahuila, Mexico: RAM 2500 and RAM 3500
Prior to 2020, Dodge also had facilities in Mexico to produce the Dodge Journey and the Dodge Grand Caravan.
