Where are Honda Pioneers made?

I’ve always wanted to go off-roading at my parent’s farm, but I’ve never had the opportunity to buy an ATV until now. The Honda Pioneer looks like an awesome fit, but I also want to buy American-made if possible. Where does Honda make the Pioneer?

While Honda clearly isn’t American, many of its facilities are. One of those facilities is the home of the Honda Pioneer manufacturing process. These UTVs are made at **the Honda of South Carolina plant in Timmonsville, South Carolina.
Opened in 1998, this factory produces not only the Pioneer, but also several other ATVs and UTVs, although the Pioneer is hands-down the most popular. Here are some other interesting tidbits about this factory:
  • Over 800,000 square feet of floor space
  • 900+ employees with a payroll of over $60 million
  • Over 200,000 vehicles built each year
While you may not necessarily need insurance for your Honda Pioneer, you can certainly save some capital to buy one by lowering your
