Where are BMW motorcycles made?
BMW motorcycles seem to be a separate division of the company—I’m shopping for one and noticed that they have their own website and everything. Are they produced in the same facilities? Where are BMW motorcycles made?

Fun fact: BMW was making motorcycles before they were making cars! BMW motorcycles are made in Berlin, Germany. The only exception to this is the G310 series, which is made in India. There are a few models whose engines are made in Austria, China, or Taiwan but are assembled in Germany.
The division that makes BMW motorcycles is called BMW Motorrad, and while BMW cars are made all over the world, BMW motorcycles are produced almost exclusively in Germany.
