Where are Hyundai cars made in Canada?

I was reading an article the other day about Hyundais (I’ve been driving one for years, so I’m always interested in news about them), and I saw it mentioned something about a Hyundai plant in Canada. Are Hyundai’s built in Canada, and if so, where?

Currently, no Hyundai cars are made in Canada. The automaker opened a stamping and assembly plant in Bromont, Quebec in 1989, but it closed after four years of operation.
It’s great to hear you’re still enjoying your Hyundai after years of driving it. They’re great cars with some of the best warranties in the industry.
