How do you connect Bluetooth to a 2013 Ford Fusion?
I just got a 2013 Ford Fusion, and I’m loving it so far, but I’m having a hard time figuring out the Bluetooth situation. How do I connect it to my phone?

Congrats on the new ride! Luckily, the process is easy. If it’s your first time, here’s how to connect bluetooth to a 2013 Ford Fusion:
- Press the PHONE button on your Fusion’s entertainment console.
- Open your phone’s settings and enable the Bluetooth to be “discoverable.”
- You should see “Add Bluetooth Device” on your Fusion’s screen. Click OK on your steering wheel.
- You’ll hear an automated voice that says “Press OK to begin pairing a device” and/or see “Find SYNC” on the screen. Select OK again.
- A six-digit PIN should pop up on your Fusion screen, and the SYNC should show up in your phone’s Bluetooth devices menu.
- Select the SYNC on your phone, then input the PIN when prompted.
- Once paired, your Fusion will confirm the pairing and ask if you’d like to set it as your primary phone. If yes, click OK.
- Answer the other prompts to your preferences and you’re good to go!
To connect your phone to your Bluetooth when you get in your car, you’ll have to use your voice command to do it. If you see if the Bluetooth symbol on your infotainment screen, your phone is already connected. Then on your steering wheel, you’ll push the voice button, which looks like a person speaking. Wait until you hear a ding, following by the automated voice saying, “Please say a command.” You’ll say, “Bluetooth audio,” then you should hear music from your phone playing through the speakers.
