The easiest way to remove a cosigner from your
car loan
is to get your cosigner to sign a cosigner release form. Most lenders provide these forms and will let you remove a cosigner, especially if your financial situation and credit have improved.
Alternatively, you can remove a cosigner by:
  • Selling your car
  • Paying off the loan in its entirety
  • Refinancing the vehicle
Regardless of which method you choose, you may also want to take the time to look at your car insurance while you’re at it. The easiest way to do this is through the
Jerry
app—we’ll get you personalized quotes from top insurers in seconds, so all you need to do is choose the plan that works best for you!
Best of luck with removing your cosigner!
