fuel type is premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. Following

’s recommendation here will allow you to get the best performance out of your MDX. Using gas with a lower octane rating can cause a knocking noise in your engine, and you might see a worsened performance.Choosing the right fuel type for your 2022 Acura MDX is important—gas with an octane rating of less than 87 could result in costly engine damage.
The 2022 Acura MDX is designed to use fuel containing up to 15% ethanol, but no more than that, so avoid E85 at the pump.
