What’s covered under the Cadillac CTS warranty?
I bought a Cadillac CTS two years ago, and I haven’t had any issues yet (knock on wood). Just in case something arises, what’s covered under warranty?

The
Cadillac CTS
warranty covers repairs, including parts and labor, to fix any defect in materials or workmanship for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first. The bumper-to-bumper warranty also covers tires against defects in material or workmanship and towing to the nearest authorized dealer for warranty repairs.On top of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, your Cadillac CTS also comes with:
- Powertrain limited warranty: 6 years or 70,000 miles
- Emission control systems warranty: 2 years of 24,000 miles
- Corrosion protection: 4 years or 50,000 miles
- Rust-through protection: 6 years or 100,000 miles
- First maintenance visit: Oil change, multi-point vehicle inspection, and tire rotation (4 tires)
You can also purchase additional plans to extend coverage beyond the basic warranties:
- Extended limited warranty: Extends the duration of all warranties included with the vehicle
- Protection plans: Provide additional protection above the manufacturer’s warranty
- Pre-paid maintenance: Covers scheduled oil and filter changes and tire rotations during the specific coverage period
- Tire and wheel protection: Covers tire repair/replacement. Some plans also cover wheel damage and roadside assistance
