What is the penalty for driving without a license in Arkansas?

What happens if I get caught driving before I get a new license? My license expired and it's from out of state; I need to go to the DMV to get a new one.

“A conviction of driving without a license in Arkansas is considered a misdemeanor. It carries up to six months of jail time and a $500 fine.
Military personnel and farmers are exempt from certain licensing requirements.
To legally drive in Arkansas, you’ll also need to drive with liability insurance that meets the state minimum car insurance requirements.”
