What insurance company is best if you need an SR-22?
Which insurance company will have the best rate for me since I need to have an SR-22? I need to have one filed for the next three years and it seems like all of the insurance companies are giving me really high quotes.

“It can be tough to find a
cheap car insurance policy
when an SR-22 filing is required. The SR-22 itself only has a filing fee of $25, however insurance companies can charge more for the service of filing the form. Unfortunately, the filing fee isn’t the only factor that is increasing the rate of your policy. The behavior that caused the SR-22 to be filed is.
In most cases, SR-22s are filed due to:
- Suspended driver’s license
- Conviction of a DUI or DWI
- Received too many traffic tickets in a short period of time
