What do I do if my 2004 Ford F-150 won’t start and there’s no clicking noise?
I own a 2004 Ford F-150. It’s old, but it’s never given me any real problems (outside of regular maintenance fixes). But when I went to start it this morning, it just didn't work. All the lights came on, but the engine won’t turn even over and it’s not making the clicking noise. What do I do to fix it?

If your 2004
Ford F-150
won’t start and there’s no clicking noise, there’s likely an issue with your vehicle’s starter or starter system. All of these problems can lead to a faulty starter:
- Loose wiring
- A blown fuse
- Dirt or corrosive build-up
- Worn-out parts (such as the solenoid)
This means you won’t even hear that tell-tale click of the engine trying to turn over when you go to start your truck.
