What car insurance company is better: Nationwide or Liberty Mutual?

"My wife has Nationwide and I have Liberty Mutual. Liberty Mutual is offering us a better rate if we go on the same policy, but my wife wants to stay with Nationwide.

Which company is better? Is Nationwide worth the price?"

“Every car insurance carrier is different and what company is best varies based on your personal situation. Depending on what coverage you need, one carrier may be better suited for you. You’ll also want to determine what’s most important to you.
If
affordable car insurance
is most important then you should go with Liberty Mutual. If you have other requirements that are more important, you’ll want to compare each company to see who meets most of those requirements. Nationwide may be better for you even though it’s more expensive.
It’s also possible that you may be able to find a better rate and coverage with another carrier entirely. You should request
car insurance quotes
for other companies to compare. You may be able to go with a new carrier to find a lower rate with the necessary coverage.”
