What are the best things to do in Chicago, IL?
I’ve seen numerous TV shows recently that take place in Chicago and they made me want to visit the city. I’m well aware that the city is massive, so I took a week off to explore. I’m just not sure what to put on my list of must-visit places. What are some of the things I have to do while I’m in Chicago?

The Windy City is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Midwest, and with good reason. As a world-class city, Chicago has tons of great attractions and entertainment no matter what your tastes or interests are. So if you’re taking some time to explore the city, here are the best things to do in Chicago, IL:
- Go to a game at Wrigley Field. Built in 1914, Wrigley is the second-oldest stadium in Major League Baseball. Even if you’re not a huge baseball fan, there’s something about drinking an Old Style, soaking in the culture, and enjoying America’s favorite pastime.
- Listen to some authentic Chicago Blues at Kingston Mines. Located in the historic Lincoln Park neighborhood, Kingston Mines has hosted some of the best blues players in history, including Koko Taylor, Buddy Guy, and more.
- Ascend to the top of the Willis Tower. Once the tallest building in the world, the Willis Tower still provides stunning views of the surrounding area. If you can overcome your fear of heights, try standing in one of the four glass boxes suspended 1,000 feet above the pavement below.
