The 2015 Chrysler 200: How do I put it in neutral?
I have a 2015 Chrysler 200, but the battery isn’t cranking. I need to move my car to let my wife out of the driveway. How can I put the Chrysler 200 in neutral?

If you want to put the 2015 Chrysler 200 in neutral with a dead battery, you’ll need to override the electronic gear shifter. Fortunately, this is easier than you might think. Just follow these simple steps:
- Hop in the driver’s seat of your Chrysler 200.
- In the middle of the car, you should see a cubby located below the gear shift and climate controls.
- Here you’ll see a mat. Lift the mat out of the way.
- You should see a small plastic door.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the door.
- Inside, there’s a red or orange strap.
- Keep your foot on the brake.
- Pull up firmly on the strap, which lifts a lever and puts the car into neutral.
- Once you’ve moved the car, push the lever back down to put the 200 back into park.
