How do I remove paint scratches from my car bumper?
I was putting groceries in my trunk when I realized there are some new scratches on my car’s bumper. No clue how that happened. What’s the easiest way to get scratches off my bumper?

Thankfully, you can usually remove paint scratches from a car bumper pretty easily. It’ll just take a bit of elbow grease and the help of some everyday household products.
But first, you should wash your car. This will give you a better idea of what you’re dealing with.
Next, you can try to clean the paint off with one of the following:
- Rubbing compound
- Wax
- Scratch remover
- WD-40
- A Magic Eraser
Rubbing compound, wax, and scratch remover work best on minor scratches. If the scratches are significant, then you’ll want to move on to WD-40 or a Magic Eraser.
For best results, work with the grain of the paint, not against it. You may need to use a couple of products to fully get rid of the scratches.
