Is it worth it to get my Kia Soul ! lowered?

I just found a great deal on a Kia Soul Exclaim. It’s replacing my base model 2016 Kia Soul, and wow. The performance? Off the charts. I want to get this thing lowered so it handles better. How much does it cost?

The cost of having a
Kia Soul !
lowered will vary based on how you’re doing it. You can replace the springs for as little as $85 to $200, not counting labor costs. Full suspension kits cost around $500 to $1,000, and most are around $700.
Labor costs could range anywhere from $500 to $2,000, so call around locally to see who can do it for the best price.
The real question though is whether or not you should even have your Kia Soul ! lowered, and that’s really going to boil down to preference and driving style.
Lowering a car to improve performance is a popular misconception in the automotive world. It really only works on race cars and racing track situations.
Lowering your car also means you’re putting a lot more wear and tear on your tires, wheels, suspension, and steering components. Your
car insurance
premiums may go up, too.
