Is adaptive cruise control worth it?

I’m shopping around for a new car, and some of the cars I’ve seen have adaptive cruise control features. I was wondering, is adaptive cruise control even worth having?

Shopping for a new car is so exciting! Adaptive cruise control is a new-ish system built into more modern cars that automatically adjusts your car’s speed to match the speed of the car in front of you.
Let’s say that you’re on a highway and the car in front of you is going 75 mph, if your car picks that up, you’ll also be going 75 mph.
With that being said, whether you may or may not think it is worth it is ultimately up to you as a driver. It’s important to remember that adaptive cruise control is not the same thing as self-driving. You’ll still have to remain aware of your surroundings and keep a close eye on your vehicle when driving.
Shopping for a new car can be long and tiresome but rewarding. Finding the right car insurance to complement your new car can also be rewarding but shouldn’t have to be long and tiresome.
