How do I connect Bluetooth headphones to my Honda Pilot?

I just picked up a 2019 Honda Pilot and want to connect the wireless headphones so my kids can watch their shows for our upcoming road trip. How do I connect them to Bluetooth?

One of the great things about your
Honda Pilot
is that it comes with two pairs of wireless headphones—and connecting them is simple!
To connect Bluetooth headphones to your Honda Pilot, first, turn on the entertainment system and follow these steps:
  • Set your Pilot’s ignition to ON. Your infotainment system should illuminate.
  • Open the home menu and choose “Rear Entertainment”.
  • The Rear Icon should be on the bottom left. Push it to turn on the Rear Entertainment System or use the remote control by clicking Power.
  • Lower the overhead screen.
Once the screen is released, the wireless headphones should automatically connect to the Rear Entertainment System. The right earpiece of the headphones has a Power button to turn them on. There’s also a control knob for changing the volume.
If you want to connect headphones to the HandsFreeLink® system, you’ll pair them similarly to a mobile device. Ensure Bluetooth is activated on your headphones and search for the device on the list of Bluetooth devices on your vehicle’s multimedia system.
