How much is a Jeep extended warranty?

I’m buying a new Jeep, but I’m also considering an extended warranty due to car troubles I’ve had in the past. However, I’m not sure if it’s worth the price. How much does Jeep charge for one of its extended warranties?

The Jeep extended warranty typically costs between $2,000 and $5,000, depending on the length you choose, the car you buy, and the deductible. Jeep currently offers two extended warranties to choose from to fit your needs and budget:
  • Maximum Care: This high-end plan offers protection for over 5,000 components of the vehicle for up to 8 years or 125,000 miles—whichever comes first. This plan is similar to a bumper-to-bumper warranty.
  • Added Care Plus: The cheaper option of the two offers coverage for 800 components of the vehicle, essentially acting as more of a powertrain warranty than anything else. It lasts for a maximum of 8 years or 150,000 miles.
Both plans also come with:
  • A $0, $100, or $200
  • Roadside assistance with towing
  • Rental car reimbursement
  • Key fob replacement
  • Trip interruption insurance
