I was thinking about outfitting my home with the Tesla Powerwall since it now offers the ability to charge my Tesla vehicle. I just want to start budgeting for it now if I can. What’s the price tag on a Tesla Powerwall?

The Tesla Powerwall costs $10,500 for a single unit or $17,000 for two units. Each Powerwall holds 13.5 kWh of energy, which is enough to top off your Tesla after a short drive or refill a portion of the power, as most Tesla vehicles need between 94 and 118 kWh to charge.
Keep in mind that the Tesla Powerwall is the most expensive solar energy storage/battery combo on the market. You can also compare other alternatives, including:
