What are the best snow tires for a Nissan Sentra?

We just bought our daughter a used Nissan Sentra, but we want to make sure it’s all set for the upcoming winter weather before she starts driving it. What are the best snow tires for a Sentra?

Finding a good set of winter tires is one of the most essential parts ofwinterizing your car—and the best snow tires for a Nissan Sentra are the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90s. These tires are specifically engineered with extra stiffness, specialized tread, and a hydrophilic coating to increase traction on icy roads. For most Sentras, you’ll need size 205/60R16, but check your specific model’s owners manual to ensure a proper fit.
Driving in the snow
is no joke no matter where you live, but if your area only gets a few snowfalls a year, your Sentra may be fine with a set of all-weather tires like Kumho Solus HA31 tires. These tires aren’t as snow-ready as winter tires, but they’re more capable than your average all-season tires.
If you opt for full snow tires, make sure you change them back to all-season tires once the weather begins to warm up. Otherwise, your tires will wear out much faster, leading to more frequent (and more expensive!) tire changes. If you go for all-weather tires, they should be fine in any season.
