How much are toll roads in West Virginia?

I’m moving to West Virginia for work, and I’ve heard they have toll roads there. How much should I be expecting to pay?

First, congratulations on your move. West Virginia does, in fact, have one toll road—the West Virginia Turnpike. This is an 88-mile stretch of
Interstate 77
between the cities of
Charleston
and
Princeton
. It will cost you a minimum of 40 cents and maximum of $2 to travel down this toll road in a standard passenger vehicle. Trucks and delivery vehicles pay a minimum of 70 cents and maximum of $12.
Note that you can only use an E-ZPass or cash to pay your tolls on the West Virginia Turnpike, so if you’ll be traveling it a lot, we recommend stopping by a WV Turnpike authority location to pick up your E-ZPass. It’ll not only save you time but also money, as E-ZPass holders get discounted rates.
