How long does the Lincoln Extended Warranty last?

A great question! There are four kinds of
Lincoln
Protect Extended Service Plans (ESPs)—PremiumCARE, ExtraCARE, BaseCARE, and PowertrainCARE—and most will cover your vehicle for up to eight years or 125,000 miles, whichever comes first. The PremiumCARE plan is comparable to a factory warranty.Here are the details on each extended warranty plan offered by Lincoln:
- PremiumCARE (eight years or 150,000 miles): The most comprehensive coverage offered by Lincoln, it covers more than 1,000 parts in total, including all tech systems. It also covers routine maintenance.
- ExtraCARE (three years or 60,000 miles to 8 years or 150,000 miles): Covers 113 parts, including some technology components. This coverage doesn’t cover the rear suspension.
- BaseCARE (three years or 60,000 miles to 8 years or 150,000 miles.): This plan covers 84 parts, but the steering system is the only part with full coverage. Systems like the electrical, brakes, and transmission are only partially covered.
- PowertrainCARE (eight years or 150,000 miles): The lowest extended warranty plan covers only the basics—engine, transmission, and drive systems. It can help to reduce repair costs on a high-mileage vehicle.
Here’s what’s covered under your Lincoln factory warranty:
- Bumper-to-bumper: 4 years/50,000 miles
- Powertrain: 6 years/70,000 miles
- Safety restraint systems: 5 years/60,000 miles
- Rust perforation: 5 years/unlimited miles
- Adjustments: 12 months/12,000 miles
