How do you use Torque Pro on an electric car?

I heard of this app called Torque Pro I can use for my Chevy Bolt EV, but I’m unsure how to get started. I have an Android phone and downloaded the app, and that’s as far as I’ve gotten. How do you use Torque Pro on an electric car?

Torque Pro is an awesome tool to get to know your
EV
like the back of your hand, but it is only available for Android users
The app interacts with sensors that regulate the Engine Management System (EMS) in your car’s gearbox, engine, ABS, airbags sensors, wheel sensors, and other electrical components.
Users can also monitor their EV’s engine control units (ECUs) and diagnostic trouble codes.
To use the Torque Pro on an electric car, you will need an
OBD2 scanner
, then follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Locate the vehicle diagnostics socket. Check behind a flap near or underneath the steering wheel, or under the drivers-side dash.
  • Step 2: Plug the adapter into the socket. Some PLX adapters have a switch and need to be turned on.
  • Step 3: Pair your phone with the adapter by accessing your phone’s Bluetooth and scanning for devices.
  • Step 4: Enter the pairing code when prompted.
Now you’re set to enjoy the features of the Torque Pro app!
