How do you reset the Bluetooth in a Mini Cooper?

I have a Mini Cooper as a rental car for the next week, and there’s a whole bunch of stuff in the Bluetooth menu from previous users. I know it doesn’t really matter to me personally, but I hate clutter! Do you know how to reset the Bluetooth in a Mini Cooper?

Digital clutter is still clutter, and we’re sure the person who has the rental after you will appreciate a nice clean slate when it comes to the Bluetooth menu!
To reset the Bluetooth in a
Mini Cooper
, you need to access the Bluetooth menu, and then individually delete any devices that you don’t want paired anymore. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to wipe everything in one fell swoop, so it may take a few minutes to select and delete the superfluous devices off of there. Hopefully there aren’t too many!
You can access the Bluetooth screen via the Settings option in the main menu. This will look different depending on what year of Mini you have, so you may have to do a bit more investigating to figure out how to access the options you want. Since most
rental cars
don’t come with their manuals, you may be in for a bit of trial and error!
But once you find the right menu option, you’ll be able to clear the previous users’ stuff off of there readily—just make sure you remember to remove your own device before you return the car!
