How do you reinstate your insurance for a car?

I missed some payments on my car insurance, and they canceled my policy. I know I need car insurance to drive. How do I get it reinstated?

Yikes! That’s a tough situation.
The easiest thing to do is call your insurance company. Once you’ve paid your outstanding bill most companies will reinstate your policy. It will be easier if it hasn’t been too long since you last paid.
Keep in mind that every insurance company has its own rules when it comes to reinstating customers who haven’t paid or missed a few payments. You may have to reapply for coverage, and your premiums may go up.
You may also want to see if you can set up an autopay feature for your
insurance
so you don’t have to think about it in the future. This is often a digital payment, and you may even get a discount for paperless billing!
