How do you put back seat covers on a Honda Civic?
I bought a used Honda Civic a few weeks ago. The back seats aren’t in the best condition, so I ordered seat covers. The covers were delivered today, but I’m not sure how they should be installed. How are you supposed to put back seat covers on a Honda Civic?

and make it unique.To put back seat covers on a Honda Civic, you should follow the instructions included with the covers. However, the process is typically similar across brands, so I’m happy to walk you through it!
To install the upper cover, you should:
- Remove the seat belts from the seat belt guides (if possible), and remove the headrests.
- Pull the seat-back release lever, but do not fold the seat flat.
- Fit the upper cover over the tops of the seats, making sure to align the seams and seat belts properly.
- Fold the seat flat and securely fasten the cover using the fastening system provided.
- Return the seat to its vertical position and adjust or tighten as necessary.
- Reinstall the headrests and ensure the seat belts are operational and in their guides.
To install the lower cover, you should:
- Slide the lower cover over the bottom of the seats.
- Ensure the seams and contours are properly aligned.
- Tighten the cover using the fastening system included.
- Adjust as necessary.
