Don’t worry! You can put a Cadillac in Neutral with a dead battery by using the emergency shift lock release.
Just follow these steps:
- Next to your gear shifter, look for a small slot (you may need to remove the shifter cover)
- Insert your keys or a narrow tool (like a screwdriver) lightly into the slot
- Shift your gear into Neutral with the tool still in the slot
If you’re having trouble getting your ATS’s gear to shift, you can alternatively look into getting a portable car charger to give your battery some energy without a jump. Another way to help get your ATS up and running again is by calling in
