How do you program the garage door opener on a Chrysler 300?

Recently, I was fortunate enough to receive a used Chrysler 300 as a birthday present. I was reading more about my new car online and it seems like it can be programmed to operate my garage door! Any idea how to program the garage door opener on a Chrysler 300?

Congratulations on your new car! Follow these simple steps to learn how to program your
Chrysler 300
garage door opener:
  • Locate the HomeLink buttons in the overhead console of your
    Chrysler
  • Press and hold the first and third HomeLink buttons until the solid red light begins to flash rapidly. Then, release the buttons
  • Put your car in the On/Run setting, but don’t start the engine
  • Hold your garage door remote 1-3 inches away from the HomeLink button you want to program. Press and hold both your garage door remote button and the HomeLink button until the red light changes from flashing slowly to rapid. Then, release both buttons
  • Next, go to your garage door control center to locate and press the learn” or “training button. This button is often purple
  • Within 30 seconds, go back to your car and press the HomeLink button for 2 seconds, then release. Repeat the hold and press 2-3 times until you see your garage door close
  • Now you’re linked!
