background
The Chrysler 300 comes in three trim levels, so you should be able to find a model that best fits your needs—even if you have to tweak it a bit afterward! There’s a selection of upgrade packages that allow for further customization to create the perfect vehicle. However, you may have to buy used as the 300C trim was discontinued after 2020.
With the growing popularity of crossovers, large-sized sedans have become somewhat of a niche market—and the Chrysler 300C fits right in. American styling lends to this large sedan’s old-school vibes, providing a look that's nostalgic for some. Although not everyone’s cup of tea, this giant
Chrysler
sedan is still packed with power and customization options that continue to appease its dedicated fans.
The many customization options can make it hard to choose which ones to get or leave behind. We've created a guide to help you choose the best trim, optional packages, and aftermarket mods to build your perfect 300C.

2020 Chrysler 300C customization options

The Chrysler 300 is one of the last few cars left in the large-size sedan class. With the introduction of crossovers, large sedans are no longer as profitable as they once were. However, this doesn’t stop the Chrysler 300 from shining with enough luxuries to keep it relevant, at least for now.
The Chrysler 300C was only available until 2020, and there are five trim levels offered in that model year—the
Touring
, Touring L,
300S
,
Limited
, and 300C. The starting price ranges from $31,535 to $43,490. You can find a used Chrysler 300C for as low as $37,500.
The lower Chrysler 300 trims come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, which produces 292 hp and 260 lb-ft torque. However, the 300C comes with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine with 363 hp to give it a little extra power. Depending on your driving style, you can also opt for rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, which is only available with the V6 engine.
Thanks to the V8 engine, the 300C has a snappier acceleration, reaching 60 mph in 5.3 seconds while still giving a comfortable, upscale ride. This is a stark contrast to the 300S, which has a stiffer suspension and gives a bumpier ride.
The 300C is offered in eight colors from the classy Gloss Black to a passionate Velvet Red. Ventilated leather-trim sport seats are also available with some of the upgrade packages.

Chrysler 300C optional packages

Chrysler has a plethora of add-on packages available for the 300C if you’re interested in bringing your car to the next level. If you’re looking for a used 2020 Chrysler 300, see if these packages were added:

How to customize your 300C to save money

Choosing a used car with more add-ons and packages will increase the overall cost of the car—depending on what the add-ons are, it could be a significant price difference.
However, certain upgrades can actually help you decrease the overall ownership cost of the car. These features include:
  • SafetyTec Plus Group: This package adds extra safety features like adaptive cruise control and lane-departure warning. With more safety features, your insurance provider may offer you a
    car insurance discount
    .
  • Performance Appearance Package: This package upgrades the look of your 300C and adds premium SRT fog lamps, giving your car a better resale value.
If you’re not sure about the insurance discounts for added safety features, you can contact your provider for more details.

The best Chrysler 300C mods

One of the best ways to give your 300C its unique charm is to make some aftermarket
vehicle modifications
. In some cases, you can save more money buying from a third party compared to getting factory upgrades. Take a look at some of the popular mods for the 300C!

Tires

The base 300C comes with 20-inch aluminum wheels and all-season tires—which may not give your V8 car the best handling. You can improve the traction by switching to summer tires instead. You can also increase the wheel size to change up the style, but keep in mind that it will be more expensive to get larger wheels and tires.

Engine

You can add extra power to your 300C by
installing a cold air intake
to increase the horsepower. The intake manifold can also be replaced to increase the engine’s cold air intake and horsepower.

Exhaust System

The standard exhaust system on the 300C doesn’t correspond with how much power is packed in this car. You can upgrade your muffler from the large selection available on the market—with a little bit of shopping around, you’re bound to find something that fits your budget.

Tint

The clear windows of the 300C don't match the car’s luxurious exterior. Upgrade the look of your 300C simply by getting the windows tinted—you can also tint the tail lights to give your car a more refined look. However, check your state tint laws before getting the work done or you could get hit with a hefty fine.
