How do you program an Audi key fob?
So, I accidentally put my car’s remote key fob through the washer and dryer. I ordered a new one online, but now that I have it, I can’t figure out how to sync it up with my car. How do you program an Audi key fob?

Oh man, there’s nothing like leaving something important in your pocket on laundry day! Fortunately, now that you have a new fob, it just takes a few seconds to get it set up.
To program an Audi key fob, you just have to hold down the right buttons while inserting the key into the ignition.
Here’s how to program an Audi key fob in just a few easy steps:
- Press the unlock button on your key fob and hold it down.
- While you hold down the unlock button, insert the key into ignition position II (ON).
- Continue to hold down the unlock button for three seconds and then remove the key from the ignition. And, voilá—your key fob should be ready to go!
