The 2021 Infiniti QX50 was configurable in a wide range of options, with five trim tiers, two drivetrain options, and plenty of premium accessory packages. Prices between different configurations on the used market range from about $33,000 to $60,000.
A more affordable crossover option from the luxury carmaker, the 2021 QX50 compact SUV offers a whole lot of luxe style, a peaceful interior, and a smooth ride, all with a conveniently small chassis. Plus, there’s 2,000 to 3,000 pounds of towing capacity to unlock with the right configuration.
It might be a bit confusing sorting through all of the options when it comes to the 2021 Infiniti QX50 configurations—that’s why

2021 Infiniti QX50 configurations

If you’re looking at used 2021 Infiniti QX50 models available in your area, you’re going to want to be paying attention to two main options: drivetrain and
trim level.
The standard drivetrain for the 2021 Infiniti QX50 was
front-wheel drive
front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive came with an extra charge. On the used market, AWD adds about $1,800 to the price of a 2021 QX50—AWD was more expensive on the top Autograph trim, but included a towing package.
Speaking of trims, the 2021 Infiniti QX50 had five:
  • Pure: Standard equipment
  • Luxe: Added safety suite and new available extras
  • Essential: Added high-end tech and luxury features and unlocked available add-ons
  • Sensory: Even more luxury features and available extras options
  • Autograph: Top trim, includes more tech and comfort features, unlocked limited edition white leather seating
Since either drivetrain was available on each trim, there were ten different main configurations for the 2021 Infiniti QX50. Each was equipped with the singular engine option for the 2021 QX50, a 268-hp 2.0-liter variable-compression turbocharged inline-4.
Here are the different configurations available for the 2021 Infiniti QX50. Note that used price ranges are estimated without additional packages.

Infiniti QX50 Pure with FWD

Used price range: $33,000–$37,000
This is the base configuration for the 2021 Infiniti QX50. Here are some of its most notable standard features:
  • Dual-touchscreen infotainment
  • Wi-Fi hotspot
  • Wireless smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto)
  • 6-speaker audio system
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • 8-way power-adjustable front seats
Splash guards were an available extra for the base trim.

Infiniti QX50 Pure with AWD

Used price range: $34,000–$38,000
AWD was a $2,000 charge when the 2021 QX50 was new, and it still usually adds about $1,800-worth of value for used models. AWD causes fuel economy to dip by 1 mpg. There were no other extras added with AWD for the Pure trim.

Infiniti QX50 Luxe with FWD

Used price range: $35,000–$40,000
The
Luxe
trim added the standard ProPilot Assist suite of driver-assisting safety features—this includes common features like adaptive
cruise control
cruise control
The 2021 QX50 Luxe also added the option for two
premium colors
that came with an additional charge: Majestic White and Mocha Almond
Three extras packages were available on the Luxe: Cargo, Appearance, and Accent. Other available upgrades included welcome lighting for an interior aesthetic upgrade, exterior splash guards and illuminated kick plates, and even bigger 20-inch wheels.

Infiniti QX50 Luxe with AWD

Used price range: $37,000–$42,000
As with the Pure, AWD on the Luxe offers better control on slippery surfaces but reduces fuel economy by 1mpg.

Infiniti QX50 Essential with FWD

Used price range: $38,000–$43,000
The 2021 QX50
Essential
trim came standard with FWD. It also added a 360-degree camera to the safety system, road sign recognition for adaptive cruise control, front parking sensors, heated side mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers.
Previous available extras packages were also available here, with additions like rear bumper protectors and roof rail crossbars.

Infiniti QX50 Essential with AWD

Used price range: $40,000–$45,000
As with other previous trims, AWD doesn’t add any other new features to the Essential QX50.

Infiniti QX50 Sensory with FWD

Used price range: $42,000–$48,000
The Sensory trim made the 20-inch wheels standard. Luxury items like memory settings for power-adjustable components, a heated steering wheel, and
leather
upholstery were included with the 2021 QX50 Sensory.
Also included were a 16-speaker Bose sound system upgrade, a head-up display, and adaptive front headlights. A new exclusive color was also added for the Sensory trim, that being Dynamic Sunstone Red, which added $900 to a new model’s price. All other upgrades listed previously were still available with the Sensory QX50.

Infiniti QX50 Sensory with AWD

Used price range: $44,000–$50,000
Once again, you’ll pay about $2,000 extra for an AWD drivetrain with the 2021 QX50 Sensory trim.

Infiniti QX50 Autograph with FWD

Used price range: $45,000–$52,000
The top of the trim range is the QX50 Autograph, which was still standard with FWD. Added features at the top tier include heated/ventilated front seats with upgraded semi-aniline leather, a Direct Adaptive Steering system with self-driving capabilities, tri-zone automatic climate control, and an available Premium White Leather package.

Infiniti QX50 Autograph with AWD

Used price range: $47,000–$54,000
The Autograph’s AWD upgrade was more expensive than the other trims because it included a towing package. However, the towing capacity of this model is still reduced from 3,000 pounds to 2,000 pounds.

How to optimize your car insurance in seconds

It might be a bit of a blessing that if you’re looking for a used vehicle, your options will be a bit more limited. AWD adds overall costs, and it’s not always clear how necessary it actually is.
