Car hoods can be deceptively tricky—most

have two latches you’ll need to release in order to get the hood open.- Open the driver’s side door
- Find the black lever on the lower left side of the dashboard. Most have a picture with a popped car hood on them.
- Pull the lever and go to the outside of the car
- Use one hand to lift the hood, and use your other hand to reach underneath and pull up on the auxiliary catch lever in the middle of the hood
