I just bought a 2017 Toyota Yaris and plan to go to the gas station later to fill up the tank, but I don’t know how to open the fuel door. How do you open the gas tank on a 2017 Toyota Yaris?

To open the gas tank on a 2017 Toyota Yaris you have to:
  • Find the fuel fill door release latch (located at the base of the driver’s side door frame)
  • Pull up on the latch
  • The fuel fill door will automatically pop open
Now that the fuel door is unlatched, exit your vehicle and carefully unscrew the now-exposed gas cap—once the cap is unscrewed, you’re all set to refuel your 2017 Toyota Yaris!
