Where is the 2001 Ford Ranger fuel pump relay location?

I recently bought a 2001 Ford Ranger for next to nothing. The owner had some great maintenance records, but I’m just going over everything to make sure I don’t have to do any major repairs. Unfortunately, the seller didn’t have the owner’s manual, so I’m at a bit of a loss—where can I find the fuel pump relay in the 2001 Ford Ranger?

Congrats on the great deal—hopefully, you won’t have to put too much into your new-to-you Ranger to keep it running smoothly! If you want to check out the fuel pump, you can find the 2001 Ford Ranger fuel pump relay inside the fuse box.
To access the fuse box:
  • Pop the hood
  • Look on the right-hand side of the engine. There should be a black plastic box, which is the fuse box.
  • Go over to the right side of the engine compartment and open the fuse box.
  • The fuel pump relay fuse is in slot 46A, which is the second from the left in the bottom row of the fuse box.
