What is the Chevy Suburban's towing capacity?

How much weight can I haul with my Chevy Suburban from 2006? My friend asked me to help him haul some stuff for a project that he’s working on right now, and I want to make sure we don’t overload my car.

The 2006
Chevy Suburban
has a towing capacity of 7,200 to 7,900 pounds. When you measure your load weights, don’t forget to include the trailer in your calculations!
Since your car is over 15 years old, it’s also a good idea to tow less than 75% of the written towing capacity. While this might make for more trips for you and your friend, it will save your engine a lot of stress and keep your vehicle in better shape.
