How do you open a gas tank on an Audi Q7?

I’m stressing right now. This morning, I set out on a cross-state sales trip in my father-in-law’s Audi, which he leant me because my car is in the shop. Anyway, I’m sitting here in a gas station, frantically running my hand around the floorboards to find a release lever for the gas tank door. And my father-in-law isn’t answering his cell. Can you tell me how to open a gas tank on an Audi Q7?

Don’t worry—as it turns out, there is no release button to pull inside an
Audi Q7
.
Instead, when it comes to opening the gas tank on an Audi Q7, you’ll first need to make sure the engine is turned off and the car is unlocked. Then, exit the car, leaving it unlocked—otherwise, you won’t be able to open the door to the gas tank.
The gas tank is located on the passenger’s side. To open the gas tank door, gently press the edge of the door, and voilà—it will open.
When you are done filling up, be sure to screw the cap back on until you hear a clicking noise. Finally, remember to close the gas tank door.
