Keeping up with a basic
car maintenance schedule
is key to keeping your car in top shape! Honda Civic’s are considered a relatively low-maintenance car, so it’s a great first car for learning about proper auto care. Here are some of the best practices for maintaining your Honda Civic based on months:
Every month:
- Check your tire pressure
- Test your lights
- Make sure your transmission and brake fluids are topped off
Every 12 months:
- Get an oil change
- Replace your oil filter
- Adjust your emergency brakes
- Check your front and back brakes
