How do you fix hail damage on a car hood?
I went to visit my sister in Texas, and my car got caught in a hail storm. Now I have dents all over my car’s hood! Is there a way I can fix the hail damage on my car’s hood?

policy, your insurance may be able to pay for the damage to be fixed professionally. Call your agent and file a claim to start the process of getting your hood repaired.If you don’t have comprehensive coverage, don’t worry; there are a few at-home solutions that can fix the hail damage on your car’s hood:
- Apply heat and then cold to the dents with a hairdryer on medium heat. Then rub ice evenly across the dents to force the metal to pop back into place. Do this sparingly, as it could cause damage to your paint job or even make the dents worse.
- Purchase a pushing tool kit to gently push the dent from under the hood until it goes away.
- Buy a pulling kit or use a toilet plunger to pull the dent out from the exterior.
