How do you fix a saggy car ceiling?

What are some ways to fix a saggy car ceiling? My ceiling hangs down and it looks really bad. Is there any way to fix it at home without paying a bunch of money?

Wear and tear
on a car can show up in various ways, and a saggy car ceiling is one of them! Here are five cheap and easy methods you can use to fix a saggy car ceiling, otherwise known as a headliner, at home:
  • Push pins: Use a push pin to reattach the headliner to the foam board behind it.
  • Glue: For this one, it’s a good idea to remove your headliner entirely, then glue it back into place with fabric glue or adhesive. This option can be nice if your headliner is
    stained
or dirty since you have the option to replace the old fabric with a new one once you remove it.
  • Steamcleaner and paint roller: First, steam clean the headliner to reheat the adhesive and hopefully get it sticky again. Then, use a paint roller to push it into place.
  • Tape: If you need a really quick fix, you can temporarily stick the headliner back to the roof using double-sided tape.
  • Hairspray and staples: Staple the headliner back to the foam board, then spray it with hairspray. When the hairspray is dry, remove the staples. Your headliner should stay in place!
