How do you check a BMW's tire pressure?

How can I check my BMW’s tire pressure? I always get paranoid that my tires are too low, but when I use the air pump I get nervous that I’ll fill them up too much.

It’s great that you’re being cautious about your tire pressure since it’s an important factor in the health of your tires. To check your
BMW’s
tire pressure, you’ll need to follow these steps:
  1. If you’ve just driven your car, give it a few minutes to cool off before trying to measure the tire pressure, as that will give you a more accurate reading.
  2. Unscrew the valve cap on the tire you’d like to check.
  3. Put your tire gauge onto the valve stem and press it down firmly.
  4. The gauge will show the tire pressure in PSI. Most BMWs operate best at 32 PSI, but you can check the sticker inside the driver’s side door to ensure it’s the right pressure for your car.
  5. If your tire pressure is too low, add some air to your tires. If the pressure is too high, let some air out by pressing the center of the valve.
Beyond manually checking your air pressure, consider using an automatic air compressor that monitors the air pressure. Once you set the desired pressure on the display, the pump will automatically fill your tires to it, avoiding the possibility of overfilling.
