How do you change a Volvo key battery?
The vehicle key bat. low symbol is illuminated on my instrument panel, so I guess I need to change the battery in my key fob. How do you change a Volvo key battery?

- Make sure the Volvo logo on the key is facing up.
- Move the button at the top of the key fob to the right.
- Lift off the front cover.
- Turn over the key fob and find the small button. Move the button to the side, sliding up the rear cover.
- Open the battery cover by inserting a small screwdriver or coin in the battery cover slot and turning counterclockwise until the marker points to Open.
- Gently remove the battery cover and remove the battery.
- Install the new battery with the positive side up.
- When you replace the battery cover, make sure to turn it clockwise until the **marker lines up
- First click the back cover into place and then the front cover.
