How do I turn off smart steering?
My car came equipped with a smart steering function to keep me safe in situations when I’m unable to see the lane lines on the road or having trouble steering. However, I’m rarely in these situations and I’d like to turn off the feature. How do I turn off smart steering?

While the technology in modern vehicles is certainly extraordinary, it’s not always necessary! Luckily, you can shut off the smart steering system when you’re not using it.
The steering assist function is generally located on the steering wheel, but its location may vary depending on the car model. To turn off smart steering, press the steering assist button, and it should deactivate.
Should you ever want to reactivate the system, you can do so by pressing the steering assist function back on again.
If you’re unsure whether your smart steering is on or off, you can check the icon on the infotainment display. If the icon is present, the system is on, and if the icon has disappeared, the system is off.
