I need to get my Kia Sportage connected to my garage door. I’m having trouble figuring out how. How do I program a Kia Sportage garage door opener?

You can program a
Kia Sportage
 garage door opener in just a few minutes.
Kia uses the HomeLink system to connect your car to your garage motor—you can program up to three garage door remotes on the HomeLink system.
First, park your Kia Sportage in front of the desired garage door bay and grab your current garage door remote. Hold the remote within a few inches of the HomeLink system inside your car. Then, press and hold the button on your remote and the desired HomeLink button at the same time. If the indicator light turns solid, you’re finished.
If the button flashes, you’ll need to press the Smart or Learn button on your garage door motor (which requires exiting your car). Then get back in your vehicle and press the HomeLink button within thirty seconds.
Your Kia Sportage garage door opener should now be programmed.
